The Democratic Senator of Georgia, Jon Ossoff, rejected the republican criticisms he exaggerated – some have even said lied – about his role helping to adopt legislation aimed at preventing veterans from grasping their homes. The claims that have been followed by local inaccurate media indicating Ossoff have co -pacarraine the bill, even if it did not do so.
Ossoff published the video of a report last week which told how he held a press conference alongside local leaders and groups of veterans after President Donald Trump signed the VA Home Program Act a few weeks ago to “talk about his Bipartite Signed Bill”. Ossoff also said in legend that “the bipartisan goes Home Loan Reform Act (A) defended by Senator Ossoff to protect veterans”. In addition, the Constitution of the Atlanta-Journal said Ossoff’s office sent a press release after Trump signed the bill that described it as a “bipartite laws that Senator Ossoff defended to help veterans rely on Va interior loans”.
But, according to an analysis of Fox News, Ossoff is not a co-sponsor of the legislation, and there is no file that he even voted for this, because the bill was adopted by unanimous consent to the House and by a vocal vote in the Senate. Ossoff did not offer legislation on the Senate company, and it was not present, and it did not speak, when the bill was examined in the Senate in July, a source of the GOP in the alleged Senate at Fox News Digital.

Ossoff’s messaging to the press was then exploded by Republicans who said that he had “absolutely nothing” to do with the bill. When he was contacted to comment on the gap and the criticisms that resulted in what was described by the Republicans as a lie, the Ossoff team said that ossoff simply rented the adoption of a bipartite bill which resolved a problem which was self-created by the Republicans.

“The Trump administration has canceled the VASP program, and Senator Ossoff sounded the alarm that its cancellation risked the roaming of veterans, then celebrated the adoption of a bipartite bill to solve the problem,” a person of the Ossoff campaign in Fox News Digital told Fox News. “Is it the best they have?”
The spokesperson is right to say that the VA Home Loan Reform Act is intended to replace the Service Service Purchase Program (VASP), which previously criticized the Trump administration for the end. But, according to representative Derrick Van Orden, R-Wis., The main sponsor of the VA Home Loan Reform Act, the VASP program was “fiscally irresponsible” and “endangered the entire Va mortgage loan guarantee”.
After Van Orden underlined the publications on Ossoff’s social networks saying that he had “defended” the new bill of foreclosure of veterans, accusing the senator of Georgia of a “bald lie”, other republicans also followed suit and attacked Ossoff on social networks.

“Senator Ossoff had absolutely nothing to do with this bill, and I don’t want to say anything,” added Van Orden. “He has not even voted for this, he is adopted by UC. This disgusting and shameful behavior must cease. The veterans are not political accessories.”
It seems that Ossoff’s assertions have led to several local media which push inaccuracies on its role by helping to adopt the legislation on veterans.
WSB radio In Atlanta, for example, has published an article entitled “The new law co -collistered by Senator Jon Ossoff aims to prevent seizures of veterans”. But, according to the details of the Congress Bill.gov, Van Orden was the only sponsor of the bill.
The bill was adopted at the senatorial committee of veterans for approval before a vocal vote at the Senate level which sent the bill to the president’s office. Ossoff is not a member of this committee either.
