Defense dry Hegseth said to Fort Benning Grades enemies will not want to play with us

Columbus, Ga. – During a trip to Fort Benning on Thursday, the defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, said that the department works to restore deterrence “so that when the enemy sees an American, they do not want F — with us”.

The comments occurred after Hegseth spoke during a graduation ceremony of the School of Candidates of Officer (OCS), where the candidates were commanded as the second lieutenants of the army or the teachings of the Navy.

After the ceremony, he made comments during the lunch of the basic classes of the infantry officer, sharing stories about his children who wanted army pantry shirts, and noting that the most proud moment of his life would be to greet them if they won him.

Hegseth also addressed the military priorities of the Trump administration, noting that the Ministry of Defense is to rebuild the army to ensure that it has the best possible equipment from the point of view of war, in all services.

“And then restore deterrence, so that when the enemy sees an American, they do not want F — with us,” said Hegseth. “Because they know that they will put the end of the business of the best warrior on the planet. He said that the world knows that when President Donald Trump speaks, he means business, adding that graduates are the faces of this deterrence.

“It is you that we remember and think when we make decisions,” said Hegseth. “This is the work of decision -makers and managers of our posts to look down and say:” We have asked you to do difficult things, we are going to make your back when you do it. We will detach your hands to you and make sure you can trigger hell in Yemen. “Absolute violence of action.

“We are going to push the decision -making authority to you, the level of the peloton, the level of the company, the level of the battalion unit, as much as possible.”

During the trip, the secretary also teased that the Ministry of Defense could have a new name on Friday, that Diana Stancy of Fox News Digital and Emma Colton were the first to confirm.

Trump will sign an executive decree allowing the Ministry to use the Ministry of War as a secondary title, as well as sentences like “War Secretary” for Hegseth.

The ordinance also orders HegSeth to propose legislative and executive actions to make the change of name permanent.
