Former Governor Andrew Cuomo hit the veteran strategist for the Greg Goldner Democrat campaign to carry out his campaign as mayor of New York in the old -fashioned ascending battle throughout the day of the elections.

The last trigger effort comes only eight weeks from the poll after the New York Times / Siena College survey from September 2 to 6 and Released Tuesday morning revealed that the former governor is dragging Zohran Mamdani over 20 points.

Cuomo has appointed Goldner as a new campaign director. The operation based in Chicago has decades of experience at the top of the democratic campaigns for Rahm Emanuel, John Kerry, Vice-President Al Gore, President Barack Obama and others.

“Greg is such an experienced and strategic agent there is there,” said Emanuel, the former mayor of Chicago and member of the Illinois Congress who was head of the Obama staff and was appointed American ambassador to Japan under President Joe Biden. “With decades of experienced leadership experience, it will provide a stable and effective hand in the team.”

Mamdani, who defeated Cuomo in the Democratic primary, directed the Mayor’s pack of the mayor 46% and far exceeding Cuomo, at only 24%, according to the survey.

Trump says Cuomo had a “good blow” to beat Mamdani in the elections of the mayor of New York

However, the survey suggested a tight race in a hypothetical face-to-head confrontation between Mamdani and Cuomo, Mamdani picking up 48% of the votes compared to the 44% of Cuomo if the republican candidate Curtis Sliwa and the exceptional mayor Eric Adams were to be removed from the race.

Sliwa and Adams have committed to staying in the race until November, even as The New York Times reported That President Donald Trump’s advisers are floating administration roles for the mayor’s two hopes if they abandon.

Cuomo and Adams arise as independent candidates before the November elections and each presented their campaigns as an alternative to the socialist platform in Mamdani, which includes the increase in corporate taxes and 1%, free buses, grocery stores managed by the city, free childcare services and rental places.

“Massive infrastructure projects to adopt historical legislation, Andrew Cuomo knows how to make the government work for people. As a democrats, this must be our first priority, and I am proud to join his team to help him the next mayor of New York” in Fox News Digital in a statement.

While Cuomo met the New York business leaders on Tuesday morning to come together against Mamdani, the veteran of the Democrats Cornell Belcher also joined the Cuomo campaign.

Belcher is a long -standing democratic sounder and a democratic strategist who have helped shape the winning campaigns of Obama.
