First on Fox: A Republican of the Senate hopes that the Ministry of Justice will investigate the groups linked to Beto O’Rourke and George Soros for having pretended the exodus of the Democrats of Texas of the State.
Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas, called the Attorney General Pam Bondi to open an investigation on the question of whether O’Rourke is Powered by People Political Action Committee (CAP) and the majority CAP of Texas linked to the Soros acted “in violation of federal public corruption and electoral laws” to leave the state during the special red session.
“I am writing today to encourage an investigation into the entities that finance this charade,” Cornyn wrote in a letter obtained for the first time by Fox News Digital. “The reports clearly indicate that the PAC linked to Beto O’Rourke and the megadonors such as George Soros support legislators, as well as other campaign entities.”

The Democrats of Texas fled the State in order to kill a special session called by the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott to redraw the cards in the Lone Star State. Legislators fled to prevent a quorum to prevent legislation from moving forward.
Cornyn previously called the FBI director Kash Patel, to find the legislators. His last letter comes to the reports of Texas Tribune The O’Rourke CAP played a major role in the financial support of the 50 Democrats who left for New York and Illinois, paying the plane ticket, accommodation and helping with the fines of $ 500 per day with which legislators faced for skipping the legislative session.
The PAC aligned by SOROS will also work with national fund collection groups to obtain additional funding for legislators.
Fox News Digital contacted the two organizations to comment.

However, the Texas State Senate advanced the new cards on Tuesday evening and the democrats of the disappeared chamber would have planned to return to the state. Now the Texas State House must vote on redistribution changes so that they become law. The special session should end next Tuesday, although Abbott said he would call another in the face of democrats’ opposition tactics.
Cornyn accused that if the legislators took money and gifts in exchange for the use of their official position to prevent an appeal to the quorum, they may have committed fraud of the honest services or an extension of the Hobbs law. And crossing the state lines, he noted, the legislators could be in violation of the Federal Travel Act, “if they did so with the intention of violating federal or state laws”.

He said that “at least, it seems likely that the laws on corruption and corruption of the state of Texas may have been raped” by the legislators who accepted the services and groups linked to O’Rourke and Soros “which provided these corrupt funds”.
And the O’Rourke group may have violated the federal laws on the financing of the campaigns for having spent money prohibited, noted Cornyn, as “the expenses made for personal use of individuals, which would include food, accommodation and travel unrelated to electoral activities”.
“I therefore ask that you also work with the (Federal Electoral Commission) to examine both the sources of financing for special interest groups and the financing of the PACS of the de-regional rights of the members of the Chamber and the way in which these funds have been spent to ensure compliance with all the federal laws and regulations,” he wrote.

Cornyn’s request also follows a similar request made by the Attorney General of Texas Ken Paxton. The pair is locked in an already bloody primary battle to capture republican appointment in the Senate in the Lone Star State.
Paxton asked a Texas district judge on Tuesday on Tuesday, an O’Rourke prison for allegations according to which he had violated an order of the court rendered last week which prohibited the collection of funds intended to support the efforts of the Democratic legislators of Texas to explode the redistribution effort.

Cornyn noted that theft of legislators had not only blocked the redistribution effort, but also harmed legislation which would provide aid to victims of the recent floods devastating in Texas.
“The special session will end in a few days, when assistance to flood victims and other necessary measures will not be processed,” said Cornyn. “The breach of the duty of the members of the flight in the run is really shameful.”
