College Football News: former Ohio State player accused of having strangled his girlfriend

Ancient Ohio State Long Vivaneau Michael Roen McCullough was arrested in Columbus early Friday morning after pretending to hit his girlfriend and strangled her during an argument, according to the police archives.
McCullough, 25, was arrested by Columbus police just after 1:30 am and reserved for the Franklin County Corrections Center, where he is detained for a strangulation burden, according to the online archives.

Police responded to a domestic violence Appeal in which a woman alleged that she had been attacked by McCullough after the two argued.

According to the judicial archives obtained by The distribution of Columbus, The woman accused McCullough of having struck her with the face several times and catching her by the throat. She told the police that she “could not breathe at all and felt panicked,” said the report.
The woman also claimed to have lost consciousness until they arrived at home. McCullough is also accused of breaking the woman’s mobile phone.

McCullough was a Walk-on at the 2018 Ohio State to 20. According to the school website, he won the honors of the second team of all the conferences of his last year and was classified as the N ° 4 on a national scale.

McCullough announced on X in 2021 that he had decided to retire medically football. In 2024, he was involved in a serious car accident that led to the loss of his right eye.
