Charlie Kirk has credited Trump to win young voters in 2024

While the Conservatives reflect on the inheritance of the founder of Turnout Point USA, Charlie Kirk, before his celebration of life in Arizona on Sunday, some Republicans attributed it to have helped President Donald Trump to win young voters in 2024.
The former staff member of TPUSA, Anthony Dewitt, explained that the basic element of Kirk’s work probably played a “monumental” role in “energize young people to go out and vote in 2024”.
“Charlie created something that ultimately raised the voices and the work not only basic, but of young people, people like me who entered politics and who gave us something that was traditionally achieved only by those who had a life in politics,” said Dewitt.

“Having young people hitting doors, continuing the ballots, obtaining signatures, registering new voters, attending conferences – it was the key to winning the 2024 elections.”
An analysis of Fox News voters saw Trump to court 47% of voters aged 18 to 29, former vice-president Kamala Harris narrowly winning demography with 51%.
In the state of the battlefield of Michigan, the analysis revealed that Trump won the age group with 50%, against 48% for Harris. He also approached 48% in Arizona, where Tpusa has its head office, with 51% of those questioned by supporting Harris.

Trump finally ended up sweeping the states of the battlefield, including Michigan and Arizona, winning 312 electoral votes and the popular vote.
However, this is an increase of 11% compared to 36% of voters in the same age group in 2020, former President Joe Biden bearing demography with 61%.
Colin Reed, a republican strategist based in Washington, DC, noted how Kirk plays a unique role in “the widening of the tent” for the party.

“There is a generation, it would have been unthinkable for a republican candidate to run almost equal among young voters against a democratic norm who had put them all Hollywoods and celebrities under the sun, but that is precisely what happened in 2024,” wrote Fox News Digital, alluding to the Harris campaign, but a short campaign after Biden filed in July.
“Charlie opened the doors to young people not only to consider the conservative movement, but kiss it and defend its principles as a ticket for prosperity and happiness.”

Those who are close to Kirk, including the leader of Turning Point Action, Tyler Bowyer, nicknamed 2026 “Charlie Kirk Election” during a vigil at Arizona State University on Monday.
“2028 will be the election of Kirk-Vance,” he said, and the organization should rally around Vice-President JD Vance to be Trump’s successor.
