Fox News Digital contacted the Vance press team on Saturday, but did not receive an answer at the time of publication.
The vice-president castigated the governor of Golden State and the mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, while saying remarks in Los Angeles on Friday.
Vance said that the governor “endangers the police,” adding “those responsible for the application of the laws themselves tell me so much”.
Newsom’s communications director Izzy Gardon rejected, calling Vance “a liar” in an email at Fox News Digital on Saturday.
“Jose Vance is a liar. The complaint of the vice -president is categorically false. There is no evidence in support of his invented complaint – and we challenge him to produce it.
One of publications Said: “Los Angeles: Do not take Trump’s bait. Trump wants chaos and caused violence. Those who attack the application of the law or cause material damage to risk an arrest. Stay peaceful. Stay concentrated. Do not give him the excuse he is looking for.”
Gardon’s reference to “Jose Vance” seems to be a play on Vance’s commentary on “Jose Padilla” on Friday by apparently referring to the American senator Alex Padilla, D-Calif.
