CADE Povich des Orioles calls a threat directed against his wife after a bad outing

Major League Baseball is faced with a serious dilemma with online threats directed against its players and their families.

The left -handed launcher published a screenshot of the message, which included an apparent threat of sexual violence against Povich’s woman.

“I understand that I may not have played or that I got the results that I, my team or many fans may have wanted, so I have frustration,” said the post of Povich on X Read. “Say what you want from me in this regard. However, doing everything possible for DM, my wife is unacceptable and what is shown in this image is to cross the line.”

“Me, or especially my wife, should not have to worry about our security in the public, however the church, because of the way I played on the mound.”

The message was sent after Povich was withdrawn with two fifth round withdrawals from the Houston Astros victory against the Orioles on Friday evening.

“I come here to say something about it because I know that my family is not alone,” continued his message. “This thing does not belong to the game.”

And Povich was unfortunately not alone to deal with harassment.

THURSDAY, Seattle Mariners Launcher Tayler Saucedo shared an alarming threat targeting him and his girlfriend. The message came after Saucedo recorded only one, granted four strokes and walked a thickness in the 11-2 victory of Philadelphia Phillies against Seattle on Wednesday.
