Former President George W. Bush joined former President Barack Obama and singer U2 Bono to comfort employees of the United States international development on Monday, while taking shots to President Donald Trump and his administration for closing the agency prey to accusations of fraud and abuse.

Fox News Digital contacted the respective Obama and Bush offices on Wednesday morning for additional comments, but did not receive any answers.

Other Trump enemies for a long time, such as former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, thanked the agents of the external service for their work before the closure of the USAID.

“During all my years of service, I found that the agents of the external service and the development professionals were among the most dedicated civil servants I met,” posted Clinton on Tuesday. “Their work saves lives and makes the world safer. Today, and every day, I stand with them.”
