Bryson Dechambeau comes “we are tired of losing” after obtaining the Ryder Cup spot

Bryson Dechambeau will represent the United States in the Ryder Cup of this year at Bethpage Black, and he had the message for Team Europe when he asked him questions after his last round at the championship open on Sunday.

Keegan Bradley, captain of the American team, sent a text to Bob Harig Illustrated sports Confirm that Dechambeau will play for stars and scratches even if it is out of the top six in the Ryder Cup classification when players win their place in their respective teams.

An emotional dechambeau spoke with journalists after a roaring return during his last round on Sunday, when he pulled a 64 to finish 10th in Royal Portrush, and he said that he had spoken “briefly” with Bradley during the week.

Then he saw something “in our lockers which was quite inspiring”. Dechambeau called the “personal” message and kept it for him. However, he made a solid statement before the Ryder Cup, an event that Europe won in 2023 in Italy.

“It meant a lot,” said Dechambeau about Bradley’s confidence in him in the American team. “This year is not a joke. We are tired. We are tired of losing.”

Dechambeau could very well need a choice of Captain of Bradley due to playing for Liv Golf. He is no longer eligible for points in the United States Ryder Cup classification, and he is fifth on the list.

Dechambeau has a small advance on Justin Thomas for the moment, although other stars of the PGA Tour are just outside the cut. The six best golfers on the list after the BMW championship in August will be Team USA automatic players for the Ryder Cup, and Dechambeau has no more opportunities to win these points.

However, the Captain of Bradley gives him six choices to complete the group of 12 men. Dechambeau, for him, is obvious.

“Bryson will be a very important room to win the Ryder Cup,” said Bradley Sports illustrated. “He brings so much. He brings energy, passion, but above all, he is one of the best players on the planet.”

Dechambeau did not play for the United States team in 2023 when they were convincingly beaten in Rome. However, he was one of two Ryder Cup teams in 2019 and 2021, the latter, was a victory at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin.

Sunday, Scottie Scheffler is the only data for Team USA on the Ryder Cup Stacks Board with 27,770.33 points. Xander Schauffele (12,706.10), JJ SPAUN (12,271.85), winner of the US Open this year, Russell Henley (11,166.85), Dechambeau (10 318.00) and Thomas (10,078.31). The next golfer is Collin Morikawa in seventh place with 9,743.61 points.

The Ryder Cup will take place in Long Island from September 26 to 28 at the famous Bethpage Black course.
