Brazilian police allegedly searched the registered office and politics of former president Jair Bolsonaro. Friday, police confirmed that they had “two searches and crisis mandates”, but did not specify if Bolsonaro was the target, but the local media indicates that it was.
Bolsonaro was ordered to wear an ankle instructor, according to The Associated Press. In addition, Bolsonaro would have been prohibited from using social media or contacting other people under survey, reported the Associated Press, citing local media. This would include his son, Eduardo Bolsonaro, a Brazilian legislator living in the United States who is known to have links with President Donald Trump.
