Bill Barr denies the inappropriate Trump-Epstein link in a testimony of newly revealed houses

First on Fox: The Chamber’s supervisory committee published a transcription of approximately 120 pages on Tuesday of the deposition of former prosecutor General Bill Barr, and it seems to affirm the assertions of the Republicans according to which the former official of the Ministry of Justice (DoJ) had no knowledge of the incriminating links between President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.

It is despite the best democrat of the committee claiming last month that the complete transcription did not erase Trump with reprehensible acts.

The chamber’s surveillance committee investigated the treatment of the Case of Epstein, having assigned several people and entities in the process.

Among them, Barr, who told investigators that he had two conversations with Trump about Epstein – once the sex offender sentenced to the end, and another time he couldn’t place.

Barr also denied that Trump expressed any point of view on the Epstein probe of the Doj, and he did not give state instructions or preferences in his conduct, according to the transcription obtained by Fox News Digital.

During a interrogation line led by representative Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, Barr said he did not remember telling Trump that his name appeared in Epstein documents.

“I am curious to know, in these conversations which you remember with the president, do you remember to inform him ever that he was in the files of Epstein, number one?” Crockett asked, according to the transcription.

Barr replied: “Well, I don’t know what the” Epstein files “refer to these days. But no, I did not do – I did not have this kind of conversation with him. I think that at one point, newspapers were made public that it was on the Epstein plane making trips – or flying between Miami and New York and Miami and Posted.

Crockett then asked: “And you have no direct knowledge of young women or women who said they had met the president by the president by the president by the Epstein?”

“I have never been told that there was evidence in support of this assertion,” said Barr, according to the transcription.

Barr later told investigators that he thought that all incriminating proof on Trump would have disclosed if it existed, and he suggested that the same thing would have been true for former president Bill Clinton, who, like Trump, was also known to be friendly with Epstein at some point.

“I think it would come out if there was a feeling that, within the government, on each side, that someone was covering. I think it would come out. I mean (the South New York district) is also – and New York – is also well known as the hearth of many, a lot of leaks on the investigations,” said Barr.

A lawyer for the surveillance of the house asked: “So, according to your experience, you have no doubt that if the SDNY prosecutors saw evidence of a crime, they would have followed this evidence, and if that led to an indictment, they would have charged, and if it led to a conviction, they would have followed the facts where they led. Is it right?”

Barr said he would have planned such movements, even for high -level people.

“I also think, you know, that you know, they would have done the same for Clinton, I think,” he said.

“I think – you know, remember, this thing also took place under the administration of the president (Joe) Biden, and they were looking for something to bring against President Trump, and that was – if they had proofs, it would have been low fruit.

The former Trump administration official also conceded, however, “I think it is possible that the SDNY did not inform me, you know, how deep they were in the survey of individuals. It would not surprise me.”

“Likewise, I think that my point of view of this office and people involved would be that, if they had evidence establishing a crime, they would pursue it as such,” added Barr.

Partisan sparks stole after Barr’s testimony after the best democrat of the Chamber’s supervisory committee, representing Robert Garcia, D-Calif., Said that his remarks had not erased Trump with reprehensible acts.

“(T) Be clear, yesterday, during his testimony to the Committee, the prosecutor General Barr could not erase President Trump from the distribution act. The president (James Comer, R-Ky.

But the transcription seems to show that, at least for the memory of Barr, Trump was not linked to Epstein in a criminal manner.

Of the two conversations with Trump about Epstein, Barr said: “One was when I heard about suicide. I called him and said,” You would better prepare you “and I told him words for this purpose, and I told her about it and I told him that we were going to investigate this – meaning what means that it was happening during the suicide Arrest there. “

The transcription also showed that Barr defending the current prosecutor General Pam Bondi would have informed Trump that his name had appeared in Epstein files in recent months as a standard procedure.

“I think that would normally be what the Attorney General would do, you know, to give the president a tête-à-tête if something was going to happen like that, the publication of documents that are there and it will be, you know, a lot-there would be a lot of speculations on this subject,” said Barr.

“It is completely normal to tell the director general that his name is about to be released. There is nothing intrinsically badly with that.”

Barr did not remember many details of the investigation throughout, but he conceded at one point that there were shortcomings in the federal investigation. More specifically, he described the period when the authorities could not locate Ghislaine Maxwell as “embarrassing”.

And despite the controversy that broke out on the MJ declaring that the case closed earlier this year, Barr rejected conspiracy theories on the death of Epstein.

“Absolutely,” he replied when he was asked if he still believed that Epstein committed suicide.
