TOP Biden administration officials interviewed and criticized the way in which the team of the former president managed the pardons and used an autopen in the decreasing days of her White House mandate, said a report, citing internal emails.

A person familiar with the leniency process Tell Axios That after President Joe Biden, his son Hunter forgave on December 1, 2024, “there was a mad race to find groups of people whom he could then forgive – and then they did not largely manage by the Ministry of Justice to verify them.”

The news agency reported on Saturday that several senior officials from the Ministry of Justice had made concerns about the White House lawyer’s office concerning the forgiveness process.

Three days before the departure of Biden, the president announced that he “shuttles the sorrows of nearly 2,500 people found guilty of non -violent drug -related offenses which are serving sentences disproportionate to the sorrows they would receive today under the current, politics and practice law.”

“With this action, I have now delivered more pardons and individual switches than any president of American history,” Biden said in a statement on January 17.

However, Axios reported that the next day, the ethical lawyer of the Ministry of main justice Bradley Weinsheimer argued in a note that describing those who were forgiven as non -violent were “false, or at least misleading”.

“Unfortunately and despite repeated requests and warnings, we did not have a reasonable opportunity to check and provide comments on those you plan,” wrote Weinsheimer, according to Axios.

The news agency said Weinsheimer said a man who pleaded guilty to murder -related charges.

Weinsheimer described how the Ministry of Justice described the man as “problematic”, but Biden committed his sentence, Axios reported.

“I do not know if the president was aware of these history during the decision of Clémence,” added Weinsheimer.

Ed Siskel, the former head of the White House lawyer office, and Biden representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital Comments.

The senior managers of the White House Biden also rejected internally on the requests to use the autopen, according to Axios, which cited the emails he obtained.

He said that Biden’s White House staff secretary Stef Feldman had on several occasions more information and confirmation of Biden’s intentions with the Autopen.

“When did we get the approval (from Biden) of this?” Feldman would have written in an email of January 7 concerning the use of autopen to sign a decree.

“I will need e-mails of … Original chain Confirm (Biden) signs on specific documents when ready,” she was cited by Axios as writing in an email of January 16 on the use of the Autopen to communicate cases related to Crack-Cocane sentences.

The developments are involved while President Donald Trump ordered an investigation into the administration of Biden, alleging that senior officials have used car signatures to cover the cognitive decline of the former president.

“I made the decisions concerning the pardons, the decrees, the legislation and the proclamations. Any suggestion that I did not do it is ridiculous and false,” said Biden in a statement in June.
