Former President Joe Biden praised the appointment of the Supreme Court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first black woman to sit at the Supreme Court, during a speech registered in the 100th annual Gala of the National Bar Association at the Hyatt in Chicago Thursday evening – just a few hours after one of his best assistants of help before the republican supervisory commissioner the office of the office.

Biden rushed several times during the night, especially while discussing the vice-president of the first black president, former president Barack Obama, and the selection of Kamala Harris as vice-president. Harris was the first woman in the black and South Asian heritage to play in the role.

Likewise, Biden said he had also selected demographically diversified judges during his administration.

“I promised to have an administration that looked like America and appoint a bench that looked like America,” said Biden. “And I held my promise. I appointed the most diversified demographically … Escade of judges in the history of the United States of America.

“Judge Jackson, as you saw earlier this week, turned out to have the wisdom and the character I saw in it when I named it. Appointed 13 black women in the United States Federal Court appeal, more than all the other presidents in combined American history,” he said. “For other first historicals also, for historical, for Hispanic Americans, the Americans of Asian origin, the American Muslims, I did not simply name the judges of the Ivy League.”

The National Bar Association initially trained in Iowa before black lawyers were authorized to join the American Bar Association, and is now composed of 66,000 members working in law which argue for civil rights and diversity.

Those who attended the event included Jackson, as well as the representative Jasmine Crockett, the D-Texas, the Attorney General of Minnesota, Keith Ellison, the Attorney General of Nevada Aaron Ford, the expert of MSNBC Joy-Ann Reid and the Attorney General of New York Letitia James.

Biden and his allies faced allegations of concealing the truth about the mental condition of Biden during their mandate, following his performance of debate against President Donald Trump on June 27, 2024 in Atlanta, where Biden had trouble answering apparently fundamental questions.

Several books were written in 2025 detailing the last days of Biden in office, his deterioration of mental faculties and challenges within the Democratic Party because of his decision to withdraw from the election.

In addition, several surveys are underway on Capitol Hill concerning Biden’s mental decline. For example, the Chamber’s supervisory committee examines the concealment of Biden’s cognitive decline and potentially unauthorized executive actions taken during its presidency.

Earlier Thursday, long -standing Biden’s help Michael Donilon appeared before the chamber’s supervisory committee and told legislators that he could have collected a total of $ 8 million if Biden had been re -elected in 2024, Axios reported for the first time.

Fox News Digital contacted Biden spokesperson to comment and has not yet received an answer.
