A Gazan young boy nicknamed “Amir” who went to a Gaza Humanitarian Gaza distribution site (GHF) and was killed by Israeli defense forces (FDI) in May, was found alive by hiding with his mother.
The two were safely extracted from the Gaza Strip earlier this month, although the location was not disclosed for their safety.
The boy, whose full name was discovered later to be Abdul Rahim Muhammad Hamden, nicknamed Abboud, and who was 8 years old but will have 9 in October, appeared with his mother, Najlaa, on the secure GHF (SDS) 3 site at the end of last month in a heavy disguise to avoid detection, a GHF representative involved in the operation confirmed to Fox News Digital.
A vast internal operation by the GHF was launched to discover the identity of the boy at the end of July after a former GHF employee, Anthony Aguilar, a 25-year-old veteran of the American army and the retired green beret of the Lieutenant-Colonel in which he said a “10-year denomator, was killed by IDF for having left a GHF help site.

In his story, Aguilar showed images taken using his mobile phone approaching himself and another entrepreneur who takes bags of food and bare feet.
The old green beret that has become GHF entrepreneur for UG solutions – a GHF subcontractor who received 30 million dollars US government financing To support his “critical work” – described at several points of sale an emotional meeting he had with the Palestinian child, in which he said that the boy had embraced his hand, touched the face of Aguilar and thanked him for the supplies of rice and lenses he had found.
But the images taken by Aguilar and transmitted to GHF officials before being obtained by Fox News Digital, did not show that this interaction had taken place.
The GHF challenged Aguilar’s account on several fronts and stressed the hand that the boy kissed was that of the Aguilar colleague standing on his left, which the images also showed.

When asked by Fox News Digital why he said that the boy got involved with him in this way despite what the images show, he maintained his story and said: “Amir kissed my right hand. He also kissed my forehead. He thanked us and told us that he was very hungry and grateful.”
In several interviews with various points of sale, Aguilar described how the boy then returned to the group where other Palestinians were gathered on the distribution site before being then dispersed by GHF entrepreneurs by the use of pepper spray, tear gas, dizzy grenades and balls drawn in the air, forcing them to flee the compound.
However, Fox News Digital was informed that the GHF did not yet have access to non -lethal weapons at the start of the operations, according to a colleague from the GHF who was aware of the position of Aguilar to SDS 3 on May 28.
In addition, Aguilar said that once the Palestinian civilians had been pushed out of the SDS center, the TSAhal forces then opened fire on the crowd and killed “Amir”, with other Palestinians. He reiterated this assertion during an interview at the end of last month during which he said Dialogue works That the boy had received a “shot on the chest, a gunshot in his leg – dead”.
But the GHF challenged the story of Aguilar – including the location of the place where it said that the event had occurred.
In one of his first stories of the incident on July 29 to Senator Chris Van Hollen, D-MD., Aguilar said The murder occurred first outside the GHF SDS 1 help site before telling MSNBC on August 2 that the shooting occurred near SDS 2, then said that the dialogue work last month took place outside SDS 3.
September 9, Chris Hayes gave an update on the report, telling viewers that the boy who was reported dead was, in fact, found alive. He said NBC producers had confirmed that the boy was now outside Gaza in an anonymous country.
Several GHF sources have confirmed that no incident of this type had been reported to SDS 1 or SDS 3 or outside, and SDS 2 was not yet operational on May 28.
Fox News Digital confirmed by speaking with several sources that Guilar was on SDS 3 on May 28.

In comments to Fox News Digital, Aguilar said: “I am sincerely, and with a breath and a joy, I hope that Imir is alive. I have always said it. I am in contact with his family and others, and Amir’s family does not know that he is alive, only that he is” gone “.
“I have always said that because of the GHF and FDI restrictions of the staff UG S (olutions) going beyond the corals of style concentration camp extending from the north entrance, that I was not, again, not able to check the death of Amir,” he said. “But I actually saw the Palestinians slaughtered by FDI machine gun fires at the intersection of the SDS 3 exit and the military corridor, north of SDS 3, where a Merkava IDF reservoir was located.”

Abboud’s mother-in-law also told GHF later that the boy had disappeared until July 28, two months after Guilar said he was killed.
Abboud fled to be with his biological mother on July 28 in the midst of a flaw with his mother-in-law’s family, of which he was deposited following the death of his father, according to Palestinian law.
A GHF representative involved in the operation explained that research to find Abboud has become not only a question necessary to discover what would happen on May 28, but because there were increasing concerns concerning the threats posed by Hamas when the traction resumed history.
The official explained that Hamas had a direct interest in ensuring that this child was not found, because he would discredit the story of Aguilar according to which a Palestinian boy had been shot by Israeli forces outside a GHF site.
In the end, the GHF was able to locate the boy and his biological mother by speaking with the local Palestinians and later, a family member who agreed to speak with the team before connecting them with Najlaa.

She then brought Abboud to the GHF site so that her son and four other family members whose Fox News Digital identity agreed to hide, could be extracted from the Gaza Strip, after at least one of the male family members received direct threats from the Hamas terrorist network.
In an interview shared with Fox News Digital, Najlaa is seen sitting with Abboud and another young man, who was also to be extracted with them, speaking with GHF officials.
In the video, which Fox News Digital did not publish to protect several identities, Abboud refers to Najlaa as his “mom” and, according to a translation of the comments, he says he is happy to be with her while smiling and sitting next to her.
The identity of Abboud, his mother and relatives were verified by GHF using facial recognition software that compared the boy’s images with those captured by Aguilar.
The facial recognition software, the biometric data and the death certificate of the abboud father, were used by GHF to verify the identities and relations of family members, and were also shared with Fox News Digital.
Abboud also brought the shirt he wore in the images taken by Aguilar, which the former GHF entrepreneur said that the boy wore when he was killed.

Aguilar did not respond to Fox News Digital concerning the intact shirt and said: “The new photos are not Amir.”
When he supported where he specifically thought that there were deviations in the boy’s images, he said: “Amir on my photos had a scar on his left clavicle. The boy presented by GHF does not. The Amir in my photos of SDS 3, has no scar on the right side of his front as shown in the photos of the GHF.”
The GHF representative confirmed that the boy’s scars were in fact used to verify his identity.
“I think he is a boy with a similar appearance,” said Aguilar, noting that he believes that the outcome of the investigation “is a lie”.
The GHF spokesman for the organization, Chapin Fay, described the story of Aguilar concerning the boy and his alleged murder of the FDI “False” at a press conference earlier this month.
Aguilar told Fox News Digital that GHF statements made against him at a press conference on July 29 were “defamation and slander”.
Fay described him as a “old -style employee” who was “dismissed for reason” after he is committed to “volatile conflicts with staff and erratic behavior”.
According to text messages shared with Fox News Digital, Aguilar did not manage to be well withdrawn from his role and threatened in a text exchange with a GHF official that he “could be your best friend, or your worst nightmare” if they “have” not “given him”.

David Panzer, lawyer for UG solutions, has echoed this belief in a Declaration he made on July 29 In which he said: “Mr. Aguilar was dismissed from his contract with UG Solutions on June 13, 2025, due to poor performance, volatile conflicts with staff and erratic behavior.
“Since the termination, Mr. Aguilar has disseminated a false story to the media around the world, at the same time, begging UG solutions to hire him,” added Panzer. “The activities of Mr. Aguilar in recent weeks clearly show that he argues his threats, in his own words … be the worst nightmare ” of Ug Solutions if they have not engaged.”
Panzer said Aguilar’s comments “raise (d) substantial reason questions”.
