Griffin said Thursday that someone “Inner Circle” from Chicago Sky star told him that the Wnba striker “Hates” Caitlin Clark.

Griffin wrote several paragraphs on social networks, first coming to the defense of Reese after a racist image of his NBA 2K26. He said that there was “no room for racism in the world” and that Reese “should never be called or represented as a monkey”.

He added that he was silent about Reese because of the hatred that he and his family received on the most recent speech in May after a controversial moment between the two WNBA stars.

“It will never agree with me. I have never attacked it to the family when I declared and backed up with clear basketball evidence that Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark. It is sport. Not everyone will love each other,” he added. “The people of the inner circle of Angel called me and told me that I was right, and Angel Reese grew up to hate Caitlin Clark because of the media that always asked him about Caitlin and to be constantly compared to her.

“Some people have race, but I have never done it and I will never do it. Instead of becoming the villain in the story of anyone, I decided not to.

Reese seemed to answer Griffin’s remarks in a separate position.

“Going to this application when everyone knows the first and family name in my circle for a clout is a work of wickedness,” she wrote.

Reese’s mother also said that Griffin was lying about speaking with the “inner circle” of the basketball player.

“Whoever you say ‘called’ U is not in his circle 2 talking about his feelings towards a media / fandom beef,” she wrote. “Stay on this side because the doors are closed here.”

Griffin retaliated.

“I took the floor to support Angel Reese against racism so as not to start the drama,” he wrote on X. “But I will not let anyone twist the truth simply because it is annoying to them. Instead of trying to check me, tighten your circle.
