Benjamin Netanyahu answers if he is afraid of being arrested in New York

After Zohran Mamdani, the main candidate for New York town hall, undertook to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits the city, Netanyahu answered questions about the question if he was worried.
In December, Mamdani, who identifies himself as a democratic socialist and is the candidate of the Democratic Party for the mayor of New York, said: “As mayor, New York would stop Benjamin Netanyahu.”
“It is a city that our values comply with international law. It is time for our actions to be also,” said Mamdani, referring to the International Criminal Court issuing an arrest warrant against Netanyahu as well as the Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
Netanyahu met President Donald Trump in the White House on Monday evening to discuss a range of subjects, including Iran and the in the middle of Israel with Hamas.

When he was asked if he was worried about the possibility of facing arrest in the largest American city, Netanyahu said: “I am not concerned about this.”
The Prime Minister added: “I’m going to come with President Trump and we will see.”
He continued by saying that Mamdani’s threat is “silly in many ways, because it is simply not serious”.
Trump also sounded, saying, “We do not know who will still be the mayor, but he is a communist. He is not a socialist. He is a communist, and he said very bad things about the Jewish people.”

“He could get there,” said Trump. “But, you know, everything goes through the White House. He needs money through the White House. He needs a lot.
“He will behave. He will behave. It is better to behave. Otherwise, he will have big problems.”
Relying a previous question posed by journalists, Netanyahu said: “What is serious” is if there can be a two -state solution to Gaza which does not constitute an existential threat to the Israeli people.
“Listen, there is enough madness in the world, but I guess it never ends,” he said. “After October 7, people said the Palestinians had a state of the state, Hamas in Gaza, and looked at what they had done. They did not build it. They built two bunkers in Nazi Terroris tunnels, the Holocaust.”

“So people are not likely to say, let’s give them another state. It will be a platform to destroy Israel,” he added. “We are going to develop a peace with our Palestinian neighbors, those who do not want to destroy us, and we will develop a peace in which our security, the sovereign power of security, always remains in our hands.”

“Now people will say that it is not a complete state. It is not a state, it is not that, we do not care,” he said. “You know, we have sworn:” Never again. “Never yet it will happen again.”
