At least 89 Christians were massacred by jihadists in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The open doors, which monitor Christian persecution around the world, said that 70 were killed when they loved it during a funeral service, the others killed in the villages of Potodu and Ntoyo in the North Kivu region of the DRC.
Many more villagers are missing. The Intelligence Group site, based in the United States, which monitors militant activities, told Reuters that the number of deaths had approached 100.
The responsibility of the attack was claimed by the Allied group of the Democratic Forces (ADF), also known as the province of Central Africa of the Islamic State, linked to the Islamic State – the same group which would have killed 49 Christians while praying for peace in a church in the village of the DRC of Komanda in July, and 66 others earlier in Irumu.

A local pastor, the Reverend Mbula Samaki, told an open partner of the scene: “They arrived and started killing. Those who tried to flee were killed, and others were killed with machetes.”
Fox News Digital saw a video verified from the consequences. It is too painful to share, showing bodies of small children and women lying on the ground. The pitiful howls of surviving family members can be heard. Another image shows that some of the victims had their hands attached behind their back.
An African open porcelain associates itself with an in -depth knowledge of events, which must Did his identity hidden for his security told Fox News Digital that there had been several other ADF attacks that had not been reported. “If we take in August, there were over 10 years ago, we have documented 10 attacks, but there have been much more that are not reported. And sometimes two or three villages are attacked at the same time.”
“People, they say that we are tired, when it will end? Because it is every day that you hear that someone was killed. You can find a family where two or three family members were killed, or a child whose two parents were killed. It is therefore pain, it is agony.”

Soldiers of the Islamic State behead Christians in Mozambique, the burning church and the houses: “silent genocide”
President Donald Trump announced a peace agreement for the DRC in June. But local fighters, according to sources, seem willing to make it work in the east region of the city of Goma. The ADF, on the other hand, increases its attacks. This area is almost exclusively Christian. ADF attackers are all folded Islamist activists, say the observers, to force Christians out of their land and determined to prevent Christians from practicing their faith.
The DRC forces try to repel the ADF. But as a local source said it to Fox News Digital, “it’s largely insufficient.”
After the attack on last month, a White House spokesman told Fox News Digital: “The Trump administration condemns in the strongest terms of this horrible violence against Christians in the DRC and undertakes to advance the Washington agreements to bring peace to the region and end the targeted murders.”

A Christian leader with knowledge in the field has added: “If the Trump administration can pay attention to what is happening in eastern DRC with ADF as they do, perhaps with other countries like Ukraine, I think they can put pressure on the DRC government and even support them to approach these ADF attacks more correctly.”
“If these people, these powers in place, and who can change things, can see it as a family, like a child whose father no longer lives. If they can just see it as people, not figures, they are not incidents, they are people. It is as if their life deserves less to live.”
