After the representative of “Squad”, the representative Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Criticized America as a country based on racism at a pro-Palestinian conference on Sunday, an expert warns that lax immigration policies in the country led to the importation of anti-American ideals and an increase in “ethno-political” in the United States

Simon Hankinson, author and principal researcher at the border and immigration to Heritage Foundation, urges the United States to adopt strict immigration standards to repress foreign loyalty, especially among American leaders.

“When you take the oath of citizenship, when you naturalize in a naturalization ceremony, one of the things you are supposed to say is that you give up all the allegiances to potential or foreign leaders … This is something you have to do. And I think it is a good idea, because I do not think you can serve two masters,” he said.

“Especially if you are a politician or in a position of authority, judge, you should absolutely have no loyalty to another country except in the United States of America,” he added.

“We used to have this as a very strict principle here. But in recent decades, the government has been much more indulgent to allow people to keep dual nationality and there are only very limited circumstances where we need someone to abandon it, as, for example, if they become a minister in a foreign government or a president or a Prime Minister in the foreign government or the senior official.

He underlined the changes to the American immigration policy in 1965 as part of the root of the issue.

“The biggest change was in 1965, when we essentially opened immigration around the world, and we have seen a dramatic change from which people came,” he said. “Now when you bring people to your country, you bring them all.

The result, said Hankinson, was a spectacular decrease in assimilation in America and a simultaneous increase in “ethno-political” dominating American dialogue. An example of this is anti-American and anti-Israeli rhetoric in a Tlaib speech, which is a second generation Palestinian.

Speaking during the “popular conference for Palestine” in Detroit, Tlaib made its doors against Israeli leaders and supporters of Israel, shouting: “I mean everyone, each catalyst for genocide, look at this Motherf room — Ers, we are nowhere.”

Tlaib also pierced in the United States as an “Washington Empire, DC,” saying: “The political structures in which I have to work, from which we are all surrounded, was built on slavery and genocide and rape and oppression.”

By targeting the Trump administration, Tlaib said that “what has been tested on the Gaza murder fields is already deployed here in the streets of America”.

“What our government is ready to do to the Palestinians, they are ready to do you all,” she said. “It is not surprising for me, as a girl from Detroit, that I see our government, who has provided bombs and apologies to Israel to literally destroy hospitals, communities in Gaza and mass production manufacturing, is also the same government that finances health and food aid programs here in our country.”

Commenting on his remarks, Hanksinson said that “for someone, in particular an elected representative, not only to criticize the policies that are promulgated by the politicians to which they are opposed, but to criticize the country and its foundations even to challenge the history and the framework of the United States, I think that is a very dangerous thing to do.”

“We can turn to examples like Lebanon, such as India or Pakistan or African countries where tribal and ethnic disputes have really embarrassed economic and political and social progress. We have managed to avoid this especially in the United States, and I would hate to inaugurate a new era of this type of ethno-political in our country.”

He underlined another recent discourse from representative Delia Ramirez, d-ill., Who, while speaking at a Pan-American conference in Mexico, said in Spanish: “I am a Guatemalan proud before being American.”

In a June interview, another eminent member of the team, representative Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Who is a Somali immigrant, suggested that, under President Donald Trump, the United States has become one of the worst countries in the world.

“I grew up in a dictatorship, and I do not even remember having witnessed something like that, to have a democracy, a headlight of hope for the world, to be transformed into one of the worst countries, where the military is in our streets, without any consideration for the constitutional rights of people, while our president spends billions of dollars of dollars as an unsuccessful dictator.”

In response, Hankinson explained that for many on the left, assimilation has become a “dirty word”.

“Assimilation is the process by which people of cultures, languages, different religions, while they can keep these roots, share a common understanding of what the United States is and what it means for the world and what it can mean for the centuries to come,” he said. “I do not think you can be considered assimilated if you come here and manage to become a permanent resident then a citizen without ever loveing this country, understanding and knowing his history, talking about his language and, for all his faults, understand that it is fundamentally a big country.”

“If you were to go to a progressive and ultra-liberal friend and ask him, there are rights that an American citizen should have an illegal immigrant, you will have to wait for the answer, because they will find it difficult to find anything,” he said. “They believe in multiculturalism.

The White House refused the request for comments from Fox News Digital on the question of whether it would support a policy requiring more strictly American citizens and legislators have the only loyalty to the United States

In response to the declarations of the Democratic legislators, the spokesperson for the White House, Anna Kelly, told Fox News Digital “it is shameful and pathetic that these Democrats are so filled with hatred for America”.

“President Trump loves America, and he restored shameless patriotism through the administration. Any political announcement comes from the president,” said Kelly.

Fox News Digital also contacted the offices of Tlaib, Omar and Ramirez to comment but did not immediately receive a response.
