New York police responded after a campaign office for representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was vandalized with an anti-Israeli slogan painted this weekend.
The slogan, written in red painting, read “AOC Funds Genocide in Gaza”. The vandals also spread the painting all over the entrance to the campaign office before the police arrived at around 1 a.m. on Monday.
The incident occurred only a few days after Ocasio-Cortez voted against the legislation of representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA., This would have reduced the funding of the Israeli defense forces.
The legislator, who criticized the War of Israel in Gaza vocally, said that she had voted against the bill because she only made funding for the defensive “iron dome” and had done nothing to cut the “real bombs killing the Palestinians”.

A campaign office for the representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was vandalized with an anti-Israeli message on Sunday July 20.
Greene’s legislation would have reduced around $ 500 million in funding for Israel. His proposed amendment, which failed Thursday, came after the Israeli defense forces bombed the Catholic Church of the Holy Family in Gaza.
“Israel has bombed the Catholic Church in Gaza, and this whole population is destroyed as they continue their aggressive war in Gaza,” said Greene.
“My amendment would serve $ 500 million in funding for the Antiimissile Defense System Israel with nuclear arms. The United States is already providing Israel $ 3.8 billion per year in foreign aid. 3.8 billion. It is a lot of money,” she continued.

“Here in America, we have 37 billions of dollars of debt. My amendment will ensure a primary defense in America, and that’s exactly what we need,” she added.
