Iran can try to retaliate against the United States after a stealth strike has struck three main Iranian nuclear installations, although the regime does not have the capacity to make a “important escalation”, an expert in the Middle East and US national security told Fox News Digital on Sunday.
Jacob Olidort, director of the Center for American Security at America First Policy Institute, said that Iran is “a lot of bark at the moment” and provided that there could be a small bite “of the regime led by the United States
“I plan a kind of face economy efforts,” said Olidort, noting that Iran could potentially launch cyber attacks or attacks on infrastructure in the region.

But Olidort said that he did not expect Iran’s “significant climbing”, not because of the regime’s lack of will, but because he has only the capacities of a stronger response after Israel has launched waves of his own strikes against the regime earlier this month.
Israel said its strikes tarnished Iran’s nuclear installations and ballistic missile sites and have killed several Iranian military leaders.

In the hours following the strikes, Tehran said that the diplomacy time had passed and that he had the right to defend himself. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump said that “is the moment of peace”.
As for the impact on the power that Iran Wield through its power of attorney in the region, Olidort said that it should be noted that none of them immediately jumped with Iran after the American strikes, which perhaps points to Iran’s weakness.
Olidort said that the impact of the American operation on the Iranian nuclear program could set the regime’s objective of making a nuclear weapon “a considerable quantity”.
“Before these strikes, Israel had withdrawn many capacities from Iran and many of its nuclear scientists,” he said, adding that he believed that Israel had already found the nuclear program of Iran of two to three years.
An expert confident Iran’s nuclear program is “more” after a massive American strike
The United States may have embarrassed Iran’s nuclear program in more than a decade, according to Olidort, although it has declared that the delay depends largely on the actions or agreements that the United States and Iran in the coming days.
The United States launched a surprise strike using B-2 stealth bombers on Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear installations on Saturday.
General Dan Caine, president of the joint staff chiefs, said in a briefing at the Pentagon on Sunday morning that the complete extent of damage to the battle to the installations would take time to assess.
