“Mr. Khalil is looking for $ 20 million, whom he would use to help other people referred to in the same way by the Trump administration and Columbia University”, the Center for Constitutional Rights noted in a press release. “He would accept, instead of payment, official apology and the abandonment of the unconstitutional policy of the administration.”
The press release indicated: “The complaint is a precursor of a federal trial against the Trump administration, which he will include under the Federal Tort Claims Act, a 1946 federal law which allows individuals to pursue the American government for damages for violations of civil law.”

Deputy Secretary of the Department of Internal Security, Tricia McLaughlin, criticized Khalil in a press release.
“The assertion of Mahmoud Khalil that DHS officials described him as anti -Semitic and terrorized him and his family is absurd. It was Khalil who terrorized Jewish students on the campus. He” described “anti -Semitic by his own hateful behavior and his rhetoric,” said McLaughlin. “It is a privilege of having granted a visa or a green map to live and study in the United States of America. The Trump administration acted in its statutory and constitutional power to hold Khalil, as it does with any extraterrestrial which advocates violence, glorifies and supports the terrorists, harass the Jews and damage.”
