Adding the insult to the injury, Aaron judge was left bloody just after the fifth round thanks to his teammate Anthony Volpe.
The Yankees players launched the ball as they headed for the canoe when Volpe obtained the ball. He launched it towards a judge without mistrust. The ball came down on the right eye of the knock, hitting its sunglasses on the ground.
Boone said he was worried at first, but the judge only seemed to support a small cup.

He approached the marble of the next round with a small bandage next to his right eye.
“Yeah, I mean, confusion. I did not know what had happened at the start. I just saw a kind of A, which had the impression that something had happened,” said Boone. “So yes, of course, I was worried. I had a little cup. In the end, I don’t think anything too serious, of course. But yes, at first, obviously very worried.”
