Representatives of the United Nations member states met in Geneva on Thursday to discuss the latest report by the United Nations Special Rapporteur in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese. The meeting intervened only two days after the UN American mission called for the elimination of the Albanian, citing its “plan of anti-Semitism and anti-Israeli prejudices of several years”.
In the Albanese reportEntitled “From the economy of occupation to the economy of genocide”, Israel is described as “a colonial apartheid regime of the colonists”. In addition, Albanian claims that companies have helped Israel in “its current genocidal campaign in Gaza”.

Israel turns tables on a UN official claiming the “genocide” in Gaza with basic issues
“Israel is responsible for one of the most cruel genocides in modern history,” Albanese said when the session is opened in Geneva on Thursday. She also allegedly alleged that “Israel had used genocide as an opportunity to test new weapons, personalized surveillance, fatal drones, radar systems and other unmanned technologies to exterminate a people without restraint”.
The Palestinian envoy of the UN in Geneva Ibrahim Khraishi had the first opportunity to respond to the declaration of opening of Albanians after the president of the Human Rights Council, Jürg Lauber, acknowledged that Israeli representatives were not present. Khraishi used his answer not only to rent Albanese, but also to criticize the American mission to the UN in New York.
Khraishi praised the Albanian report and said that he had provided “a complete analysis of how an occupation economy has become an economy of genocide supported by a series of transnational weapons industry companies and digital surveillance”.

The representative then defended the Albanians and criticized the United States for accused the Special Antisemitism Rapporteur, saying that “anti-Semites are those who support the genocidal government”, referring to Israel.
UN Watch Executive Director Hillel Neuer was one of the only dissident votes against the report. In his response to the Albanians, Neuer stressed only in the report “Israel is accused of genocide 68 times”.
“Israel fought a just war against a terrorist army, which cynically integrated among civilians. Ms. Albanese, war is not a genocide, but in your report, there is no war at all, it is only Israel,” said Neuer. He then questioned the omission of the report of the attacks led by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

Opinion: I know why the United Nations Security Council is not relevant to Gaza. I was there when the United States defended Israel
Although the mission of Israel to the UN in Geneva is not physically present to respond, his ambassador published a scathing condemnation of the special rapporteur in a declaration to Fox News Digital.
“Francesca Albanese willingly heads for global efforts to promote the propaganda of terrorism. This report, like all the others by this report, is riddled with inflammatory rhetoric and is legally baseless,” Fox News from Israel in the UN in Geneva, Daniel Méron told Fox News. “Her obsession with demonizing Israel is clear in the story she pushes.”
“His allegations according to which Israel commits a” genocide “and engaged in” apartheid “is wrong and offensive. Israel fights a legitimate war to defend himself,” added Méron. “However, the Albanians deliberately and systematically omit any mention of the existence of Hamas, Hezbollah or Houthis, or the roadblocks on Israel launched by Iran. It helps Iran and its terrorist proxies in the promotion of a story that dismisses reality and ignores the suffering of the hostages.”

“Serious” Hamas has the idea of reaching a ceasefire agreement but insists on longtime requests
In addition to her condemnation of companies linked to Israel, the Albanians also targeted Gaza Foundation (GHF) supported by the United States and Israeli, which she described as “nothing other than a deadly trap designed to die of hunger and force the theft of a hungry, bombed and emaciated population marked for elimination.” This feeling was taken up by Khraishi, who also described the GHF as “trap”.
The GHF, which has the support of the Trump administration, has repeatedly rejected against criticism, including the UN, and encouraged them to join its objective of providing help from the Palestinian people in a way that prevents Hamas from stealing it.
“We have delivered more than 52 million meals in just five weeks. No discussion points, no titles, but foods reaching Palestinian families every day,” GHF spokesperson for Fox News Digital told. “Meanwhile, other organizations remain helpless while their help is pillaged. We have offered to help them deliver it safely. They refused.”
On Tuesday, the American mission to the UN expressed its concerns again about the Albanian and published a statement calling for its withdrawal and reiterating its opposition to its renewal earlier this year.
“In the past few weeks, Ms. Albanese has increased her plan of virulent anti-Semitism and implacable anti-Israeli bias by sending a correspondence threatening dozens of entities in the world, including large American companies”, ” The declaration of the American mission read. “These letters advance deeply imperfect legal arguments to support the extreme and unfounded accusations according to which these organizations are accomplices of blatant violations of human rights, apartheid and genocide. These letters also constitute an unacceptable campaign of political and economic war against the American and global economy.”

Official UN has renewed its doors despite the charges of anti -Semitism
In the past, the Albanians have also been condemned by France and Germany because of its declarations on Israel, some of which have been criticized as anti -Semitic.
In February 2024, Albanese was sentenced by France and Germany after having declared that French President Emmanuel Macron was wrong to call the events of October 7 in Hamas “the greatest anti -Semitic massacre of our century”. In her response, she said that “the victims of 7/10 were not killed because of their Judaism but in response to the oppression of Israel”.

France said that the Albanians seemed to “justify” the attacks and that its remarks were “all the more scandalous since the fight against anti -Semitism and all forms of racism are at the heart of the UN Foundation”. According to ADL.
