A blogger castigated the British police after arresting him for sharing a meme on social networks that said “F — Hamas”.
Pete North, 47, filmed officers arriving in his Yorkshire home in the United Kingdom on September 25 and telling him that he was detained because he had “published something on the Internet” that a member of their hate crime team “did not appreciate”.

Two North Yorkshire officers came to stop Pete North at home and took him to the Harrogate police station.

North Yorkshire police confirmed the arrest, saying to the British media: “A 47 -year -old man was arrested for suspicion of publication or distribution of written documents intended to arouse racial hatred. He was released under investigation while requests continue.”
