A bear chases a boy inside a convenience store in Pennsylvania, and was caught on camera

A brave little boy came face-to-face with a black bear inside a Pennsylvania family dollar, and yes, he lived to tell the tale…and it’s a true nightmare fuel story!

talking to CBS Pittsburgh11 years old Cole Freeze He said he was just walking around the Markleysburg store over the weekend when he realized there was a bear behind him — and literally chased him into the store while screaming, getting within about a foot and a half of him.

Cole said he really thought the bear was about to eat him, but instinct kicked in… He swayed left, and the bear kept going straight, dashing up and down the aisles with its heart beating out of its chest.

Cole said the only other person in the store was the cashier, so he ran straight over to her. She scooped it up, and they both jumped on the table, located the bear, and booked it from there!

It was a wild and lucky escape… especially since surveillance showed the bear had been shopping for a full 10 minutes inside the store. Also, the Pennsylvania Game Commission says bears are wandering in for snacks this time of year…which explains why furry foodies sometimes hit the wrong trail.
