In the midst of a legal battle between President Donald Trump and several States led by Democrats for the citizenship of the birth law, the representative Andy Barr, R-Ky., Provides for a constitutional amendment to “immediately put an end to this debate” by clarifying that the children of illegal immigrants are not eligible for citizenship.

Barr described the amendment an important step to help the president “protect America”.

If it is adopted, Barr’s amendment would clarify the meaning of the 14th amendment clause that people must be “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States as citizens.

The 14th amendment, which was ratified in 1868 to guarantee citizenship rights to former slaves, declares that “all people born or naturalized in the United States and subject to their competence, are citizens of the United States”.

Barr’s amendment would specify that “person born in the United States can only be considered” subject to the jurisdiction of the United States “that the person is born in the United States of parents, one of which is-(1) a national from the United States; (2) A foreigner admitted for a permanent residence in the United States whose residence is in the United States; or (3) an alien with a legal state under the status of immigration under active service; or 3) an alien with a legal state under the status of immigration under active service; or 3) an alien with a legal state under the status of immigration under active service; Forces. “”

This occurs when the Supreme Court won a great victory in the quest for President Donald Trump on Friday to prevent the lower courts from delivering universal injunctions which had turned many of the executive orders and the actions of his administration, including his order putting an end to the citizenship of the birth.

The judges ruled 6-3 to allow the lower courts to issue injunctions only in limited cases. However, the decision leaves the question of how the decision will apply to the order of citizenship of birth law at the heart of the case.

The Supreme Court has agreed this year to take a trio of consolidated cases involving so -called universal injunctions transmitted by federal judges of the district of Maryland, Massachusetts and the state of Washington. The judges of these districts had prevented Trump’s ban on the citizenship of the regional duty to take strength at the national level, which the Trump administration supported in its appeal to the Supreme Court was too wide.

The arguments of the Supreme Court in May have little concentrated on the bottom of these universal injunctions. Friday, the court clearly indicated that it did not judge whether the orders for citizenship of the right of birth is constitutional.

In a statement sent by email to Fox News, Barr said: “I applaud Scotus for limiting the injunctions, but we are looking forward to ending the citizenship of the dawn.”

“The judges of the radical district arrested the Maga Agenda with injunctions nationwide, preventing President Trump from cleaning up the damage caused within 4 years of Joe Biden,” said Barr. “I will present a constitutional amendment to the congress immediately to put an end to this debate and put an end to the citizenship of the birth law once and for all.

“We have to do everything it takes to help President Trump protect America.”
