Senator Rounds invites President Trump to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in southern Dakota

First on Fox: Each year, the small town of Sturgis, southern Dakota, explodes a few thousand residents just hundreds of thousands of people making the pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip campsite.

There, they participate in the largest motorcycle rally in the country, where camaraderie, engine oil and rock ‘n’ roll permeate the dusty campsite. And a republican senator wants President Donald Trump to be the guest headlining.

Senator Mike Rounds, RS.D., extended an invitation exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital to the President to attend the Moto Rally of Sturgis of the original state. The towers left the door open to Trump to come to the 85th anniversary of the rally this year, or to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America next year.

“South Dakota is Trump Country,” said Rounds. “We would be delighted to present to you on stage during one of our first concerts, in front of tens of thousands of fans, and we are very convinced that you will be impressed by the reception.”

“This year, the event is our 85th anniversary-which will attract rally lovers from all over the country and around the world,” he continued. “Next year, our country’s 250th anniversary will also be a bursting event. We would be honored to welcome you whenever it can work in your schedule.”

At the point of rounds, the southern Dakota is indeed “Trump Country”. The president won the state with each cycle he directed, with an average of a margin of victory of approximately 30 points on his opponents.

The rally of this year will take place from August 1 to 10 and showcase a number of artists, including Zz Top, Jason Aldean, Jefferson Starship, Nickleback and others.

“We are partial, but it is an experience that each American with red blood should witness, or better still, to participate,” said Rounds.

“Thank you for managing our big country. We would be delighted to honor you with an appreciation event as you have never seen it,” he continued.
