Democrats who opposed the bill argued that it was an attempt to fear.
“I participated in the judicial hearings which led to the sending of this bill, and I carefully examined the majority report. There is absolutely no evidence in this hearing or a report indicating a causal link between immigration status and driving driving,” said representative Mary Gay Scanlon, D-P. week.
“And above all, for all these speeches, this legislation does not take any significant action to repair our broken immigration system.”

But Moore said he was “surprised” that 160 democrats vote against the bill.
“This simply shows that if it is a question of holding responsible immigrants responsible, even if it kills our own people in cases of drunkenness in state of drunkenness, they are against all kinds of reforms on immigration,” said Moore.
The high management of the Democrats of the Chamber is one of the 160s who voted against the bill, including the head of the minority of the Hakeem Jeffries Chamber, DN.Y.
The legislation should be adopted by the Senate, then signed by President Donald Trump to enter into force.
