The director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (AIEA), Rafael Mariano Grossi, said that his agency did not know where nearly 900 pounds of potentially enriched uranium is located Iranian officials said it was removed for protective measures before strikes on nuclear installations in Iran.

Grosi was a guest on “The Story With Martha MacCallum” by Fox News “on Tuesday when he was asked about the location of uranium enriched in Iran, as well as other subjects concerning the Knocks us On Iran’s nuclear installations on Saturday.

The American army made massive precision strikes on three key nuclear sites in Iran on Saturday, including Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.

Grossi said Natanz was the first to be struck and underwent “very serious damage” in one of the centrifuge rooms where enrichment was underway. Isfahan has also suffered damage, he added, although no one is inside the corridors to assess the damage.

MacCallum asked to be grown on a statement in which he previously declared that he thought that 900 pounds of potentially enriched uranium had been taken to an old site near Isfahan.

“I must be very precise, Martha … We are the AIEA, so we are not speculating here,” said Grosi. “We do not have information on the fate of this equipment.”

He said that Iran host officials told him that they were taking protective measures that could or not include moving the equipment.

“So, it is quite obvious that you ask me on this subject, that there is a question there: where is it?” Said fat. “So the way of asserting it is to allow the inspection activity to resume as soon as possible. And I think it would be for everyone’s benefit.”

The director would not dispute with a declaration by vice-president JD Vance in which he declared that if Iran had 60% enriched with uranium, but not the ability to enrich it at 90%, they do not have the capacity to convert uranium into a nuclear weapon.

“I would not say with this because 60% is not 90%,” said fat, but more importantly is to determine if uranium has been moved and where it is located. “My obligation is to take into account each gram of uranium that exists in Iran and in any other country,” he said, adding that the investigation is not a discriminating approach against Iran.

Vance said in its declaration that the mission was a success if Iran could not convert uranium to 90% for a nuclear weapon, and gross agreed with this declaration, at least in terms of a military approach.

“My job is to try to see where this material is, because Iran has the obligation to report and report on all the material they have, and this will continue to be my work,” said Grosi.
