A senior Iranian official also confirmed the cease-fire agreement, According to Reuters.
An informed diplomat of ceasefire talks shared more details on the agreement with Fox News.
“President Trump spoke with the Emir of Qatar and informed him that the United States has obtained Israel to accept a cease-fire with Iran,” said the source. “The president asked Qatar to help Iran persuade the same, after the vice-president Vance coordinated with the Prime Minister of Qatar on details.”
The source added that “this effort turned out to succeed and, following discussions with the Qatari Prime Minister, the Iranians agreed”.
“The agreement was coordinated at the highest level by the president and the vice-president and the Emir Qatari and the Prime Minister directly,” continued the source.

The president’s announcement comes after Iran launched at least six missiles to the Al-Wudeid Airwater Air Base in Qatar on Monday, retaluating for Trump’s attack on the Tehran nuclear program this weekend.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar sentenced the strike in a statement, saying that the missiles had been destroyed and that there was no victim.
