Vice-president JD Vance was briefly suspended Wednesday evening by the liberal competitor X Bluesky in the first hour of leader 2 of the country joining the platform. The account has since been restored.

“We welcome the vice-president in the conversation on Bluesky,” said the company to Fox News Digital in a response by email, noting: “There have been many attempts to imitate the vice-president JD Vance on Bluesky because it is a public figure, and the JD-Vance-1.Bsky account.

“The account was quickly restored within 20 minutes of the suspension, and we also added a checked badge to help users confirm the authenticity of the profile,” added the declaration.

Bluesky, a social media platform with a provision similar to X, has become a paradise for many liberals fleeing X after Elon Musk bought the platform and began to make changes. Despite his reputation as a liberal bastion, Vance set up a profile on Bluesky on Wednesday, making his first post at 4:50 p.m.

The suspension even aroused the condemnation of Vance’s criticisms. Liberal journalist Billy Binion commented: “I can’t stand JD Vance. But suspending the vice-president in office is exactly the reason why Bluesky is inserted and condemned to fail.”
