Arizona and Texas should have more border walls built following recent actions from the federal government.
In the state of the Grand Canyon, customs and the protection of American borders gave Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. more than $ 300 million to build 27 miles on the wall in the Tucson sector, which was a home of illegal passages during the Biden administration. The secretary of the Ministry of Internal Security, Kristi Noem, took several measures to accelerate the construction of border walls in the areas where there are gaps in Arizona, California and Texas, mainly by granting environmental derogations to avoid “administrative delays”.
Wednesday’s announcement noted that a fifth derogation was signed by the secretary, which will be used for 17 miles of wall in the Texas Rio Grande Valley sector.
