Iran warned that the United States joining Israel would mean a “total war” because Israel has bombed sites overnight that would have enabled Iran to continue to enrich uranium, as well as attack Israeli forces.

“Any American intervention would be a recipe for a total war in the region,” the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmail Baghaei said on Wednesday in an interview with Al Jazeera English.

He has not developed, but thousands of American troops are based in neighboring countries within Iranian weapons. The United States has threatened a massive response to any attack.

Another Iranian official has apparently excluded requests for the country to renounce his disputed nuclear program.

Iranian ambassador to Geneva, Ali Bahreini, told journalists that Iran “will continue to produce uranium enriched insofar as we need for peaceful purposes”.

He rejected any discourse on a setback in Iran’s nuclear research and development of Israeli strikes, saying: “Our scientists will continue their work”.

The Israeli warplanes crinized Tehran overnight and Wednesday while Iran launched a small missile dam in Israel without any victims report, according to the Associated Press.

Israel says that he launched strikes to prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon, after talks between the United States and Iran about a diplomatic resolution made little visible progress over two months but was still underway.

President Donald Trump said the Israel’s campaign came after a 60 -day window he set for talks.

Iran has long insisted that its nuclear program was peaceful, although it is the only non -nuclear state to enrich uranium up to 60%, at a short technical step in the level of weapons of 90%. American intelligence agencies said they did not think that Iran actively pursued the bomb, according to the AP. Israel would be the only country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons but never recognized them publicly.

Israeli defense forces (FDI) said on Wednesday that it had eliminated Ali Shadmani, identified as Iran’s “chief of staff” overnight. Shadmani only occupied the role four days before meeting the same fate as his predecessor, spokesperson Brig. General Effie Defrin said in a video statement on Wednesday.

“We have delivered significant blows to the Iranian regime, and as such, they were pushed back in the center of Iran,” said Defrin. “They now focus their efforts on the production of missile fire in the Isfahan region. We are targeting military targets, they attack civilian houses.”

“While we work to remove the threats of Iran, we always fight their proxy, Hamas in Gaza, which still holds 53 of our hostages in brutal conditions,” he added. “We will not rest as long as they have not returned home.”

More than fifty Israeli hunting planes Air Force (IAF) made three waves of strikes over three hours in an operation extended Tuesday evening, hitting an Iranian centrifuge production site “which was to allow the regime to continue to improve its uranium enrichment,” said Defrin in another statement on Wednesday. “This completes the actions of previous operations, we have carried out targeting components of the nuclear program.”

Israeli forces have struck more than 1,100 different components across Iran from the sixth day of the conflict, said Defrin.

He said that the IAF jets have also struck several arms and missile production sites in Tehran. Wednesday morning, Israeli planes identified and struck five Iranian AH-1 attack helicopters located at Kermanshah airport.

“We have clear goals and objectives: to remove the existential threat to the state of Israel, considerably alter the nuclear program in all its components and inflict substantial damage to the missile matrix,” said Defrin.

The FDI said that it has identified around thirty launches from Iran to Israeli territory in two dams on Tuesday evening.

“Most of them have been intercepted, and there were no victim. I know that these are complex days, but we cannot afford complacency,” said Defrin, warning the Israelis to strictly respect the security guidelines.

Trump initially moved away from Israel’s surprise attack on Friday which sparked the conflict, but in recent days have referred to a greater American involvement, saying that he wanted something “much bigger” than a cease-fire.

The United States has also transferred assets to the Middle East, in particular by sending more war aircraft to the region.
