The man of Georgia has been charged with alleged threatening vocal messages against GOP senators

A man of Georgia was charged by a great federal jury after having pretended to threaten sexual violence against two republican senators and family members.
Robert Davis Forney, 25, of Duluth, in Georgia, was arrested on Monday before an American magistrate judge for federal accusations of Communicate threats in interstate trade.
He was charged by a large federal jury seated in the North District of Georgia on June 10.
The authorities claim that Forney called the senator’s office Ted CruzR-Texas, twice on January 9, and left vocal messages threatening sexual violence against Cruz and his family, according to court documents.

The next day, Forney would have called the senator’s office Deb FischerR-NEB., And left a vocal message threatening sexual violence against her.
Specific threats have not yet been made public.
“The threats to public figures – including legislators – are not uncommon, and the senator’s office reports such threats to the American Capitol police, who takes the appropriate measures,” a fischer spokesman for Fox News Digital told. “The senator appreciates the concerns of the Nebraskans and their kind words, and she continues to do her job on their behalf.”

American lawyer Theodore S. Hertzberg said that threatening elected officials and their families is “an act of violence that undermines all our democracy”.
“Political discourse and disagreements never justify using vile attacks against the leaders of our nation,” Hetzberg wrote in a statement.

FBI Atlanta Special agent in charge Paul Brown added that actions are classified as a serious federal crime.
“There is no room for political violence or threats of violence in the United States,” said Brown in a statement. “We will not hesitate to arrest and charge other people who engage in a similar criminal conduct.”

This case is the subject of an investigation by the FBI and the American Capitol police as part of Operation Take Back America, a national initiative which brings together all the resources of the Ministry of Justice to protect communities against the perpetrators of violent crimes.
Cruz’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s comments.
