The judge calls for certain reductions in illegal NIH grants, accusing the government of discrimination

A federal judge declared the decision of the Trump administration of Nix certain subsidies of the National Institutes of Health as illegal, describing the cuts as discriminatory during the remarks on Monday, according to reports.

“Any discrimination of our government is so wrong that it forces the court to enjoin it and at an appropriate time, I will do it,” said the judge Reuters.
HHS communications director Andrew Nixon noted in a statement that the ministry “explores all legal options, including the filing of a call and move to suspend the order”.

The White House spokesman Kush Desai accused the judge of disseminating his own opinion.
