A security expert welcomed the “exceptional performances” of Israel’s defensive capacities which, according to him, prevented “much greater destruction”, in the middle of the Iranian missile dam fired from the Jewish state.
Dr. Yehoshua Kalishy, Dr. Yehoshua Kalishy, recently wrote that the “destructive potential of Iranian ballistic missiles is immense”, given the size, handling and high speed speed of various missiles in the Iranian arsenal. He calculated that Israel intercepted “around 95%” of the ballistic missiles launched towards its territory on Saturday.
Behnam Ben Taleblu, senior member of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital that he thought that on Monday, about 20 of Iranian ballistic missiles 250-300 sent to Israeli airspace crossed the Israeli defenses. On Tuesday, the Israeli army said that 20 others had been dismissed, with five without having succeeded.

As of June 15, Israeli Defense Forces (FDI) also said that Iran had “sent more than 100 drones to Israel”, which it intercepted.
According to Taleblu, the “dams against Israel follow the model established in 2024 where the secret war of several decades between Israel and Iran died out of the shadows.”
Taleblu claims that Iran has “doubled (ING) on targeting civilian population centers in what is called counter-value operations in order to irode the will of Israel to continue its campaign against the military sites of the Islamic Republic.” He explained that there were “at least eight waves” of attacks on Israel, and “there are a lot of anecdotal evidence to say that these waves become gradually smaller”.

In the midst of Iranian attacks, Kalisky described the myriad of defensive capacities that have protected Israeli citizens. This is in particular the magen or “a significant new addition to the defensive layer of Israel” which uses laser systems to intercept Iranian drones.
The United States has deployed its defense battery in the high-end area area (Thaad) in Israel in October 2024 as well as 100 US staff to operate the system. Kalisky says that Thaad “identifies targets up to 2,500 to 3,000 km” and can intercept “short and medium -range ballistic missiles to altitudes up to 150 km”.

Familiar Israeli systems continue to provide protection. Kalisky wrote that Iron Dome intercepts short -range missiles and rockets while David’s Sling’s cruise missiles and medium -range rockets and missiles. Arrow 2 intercepts long -range ballistic missiles in the atmosphere, while Arrow 3 intercepts them outside the atmosphere.
In addition, Israel’s naval interception system, the C-Dome, is deployed on 6-class SAA-SAA missile ships, “protect (ING) from strategic maritime assets”.

Taleblu says that in addition to defending itself, Israel has targeted the storage sites of Iranian ballistic missiles and the launch of infrastructure. The FDIs announced on Monday that they had destroyed a third of Iranian missile launchers.
According to Taleblu, the more “the conflict continues, the more the Islamic Republic will become militarily”, although it notes “it does not mean that the regime is not deadly”.

“The quantity has its own quality,” said Taleblu, saying that “the survival and maneuverability of Iranian ballistic missiles” has allowed projectiles to hit centers of civilian population, causing death and “massive disturbances of models of life”. Taleblu said: “Indicating why a regime like this should not be in possession of the largest ballistic missile arsenal in the region and will not be authorized to fill (with) nuclear weapons.”
On Tuesday, 24 Israelis were killed and more than 500 injured by the assault of Iranian ballistic missiles.
