Private security entrepreneurs could be essential in terms of “ day after ‘Gaza

The question of a “day after” plan in the Gaza Strip has afflicted negotiations between Israel, the United States, the Arab nations and Hamas for months and finally led to the refusal of the terrorist network to disclose the 55 hostages that are still organized there.

However, foreign policy leaders and Washington -based security experts may have the key that could provide a solution to help rebuild the Gaza Strip torn by war where others cannot: private security entrepreneurs (PSC).

The PSCs, which have a strong experience in the Middle East and decades of learned lessons, could be used as non-state actors to ensure stability and a way to follow for the Palestinians, but they should start with Humanitarian Aid, John Hannah, former national security advisor to Dick Cheney and Jinsa told Fox News Digual.

In a plan developed after the attack on October 7, 2023 of Hamas on Israel and the start of war that followed in the Gaza Strip, a group of eight members with Jinsa and the Vandenberg coalition included a report that detailed how the manipulation of humanitarian aid could completely change safety in the region.

The plan, in part, initially seemed similar to the mechanism known as Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which is supported by the United States and Israel, and which launched last month to distribute the aid to the Palestinians.

However, the plan composed by Hannah and the team went further and argued that these aid players should also be involved in the reconstruction of Gaza.

“We thought that humanitarian problems were the best way (before),” said Hannah. “It is the common denominator which would allow all the main stakeholders who want to arrive at a better day after ‘- Israel, in the United States, the main pragmatic Arab states- they could all agree that we cannot agree on a political vision for Palestine in 10 years, and the problem of maternity that we do not want to see starving, apple palette.”

Israeli defense forces had already detailed the need to eliminate Hamas after the deadliest attack on Israel, but the group of eight experts also identified this aid, long used by Hamas to maintain power by using it to encourage support and recruitment, and to punish opposition, was to be the key to cement the real changes.

“We needed a solution on humanitarian aid,” said Hannah. “And when we looked around the world, which could do this, resume humanitarian aid? We ended up with a single option.”

“We did not think it should be the Israeli defense forces. Israel lacks legitimacy with the Palestinian population, and frankly, he had his hands fully defeating Hamas,” he added. “The American forces were not going to do so. We do not think that the Arab forces would intervene and do it. And the United Nations system as it existed under UNRWA was illegitimate in the eyes of Israel.”

The group not only informed Biden and Netanyahu’s administrations on the proposal, but had many discussions with Israeli officials in 2024 on how such a plan could work.

The Lieutenant-General of the US Retirement Army Michael Barbero-who was deputy chief of staff, strategic operations for multinational-iraq forces for 2007-2008 and who was charged by General David Petraeus to create a system of responsibility on the PSC in Iraq following the Blackwater incident in September 2007 known under the name of Nisour Israé Bande officials.

The progress of the proposal seemed to be triggered by last year last year, while the president of the time, Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, increased category heads against humanitarian concerns and civilian Palestinian death tolls.

However, Hannah wondered if the seed had been planted from Israel when the Trump administration returned to its functions, allowing the GHF to come and start distributing help.

The GHF, although it has distributed more than 16 million meals since it started its operations at the end of May, saw a chaotic start with hungry Palestinians who precipitated certain sites and reports of violence taking place.

Although the reports on the level of chaos would have been exaggerated by Hamas – which would finally have to benefit from the failure of the GHF, as the experts explained – the group initially aroused criticism of transparency problems, although the group sought to remedy this with royal updates.

The group, which saw its third leadership in as many weeks earlier this month, told Fox News Digital as despite a certain frustration among world leaders and aid groups, its objective is to work with important organizations such as the United Nations and others to better distribute Gaza aid where these programs are still decreasing.

The American ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee confirmed last month that the GHF distribution centers would be protected by Private security entrepreneurs.

Although Washington supports the effort, the State Department, the spokesperson, Tammy Bruce, clearly indicated that the GHF is “an independent organization” which “does not receive funding from the United States government”.

However, she also has refused to confirm If US officials work for the program.

The PSCs have a legendary history in the Middle East, and not only the American war against terrorism. They were used by nations such as Saudi Arabia and water, which could give them a level of acceptance which would not be feasible by another force.

The proposal published by Hannah and his colleagues made the use of PSCs beyond humanitarian aid and argued that they could have a positive impact in the real reconstruction of the Gaza Strip – an idea that was also presented to the Trump administration this year.

“It is not at all foreign to these Arab parties that you could use PSCs for certain critical missions,” said Hannah. “Our idea was, let’s go.

“The Arabs would invest most of the humanitarian workers, a large part of the funding, then they would hire some of these international PSCs with great experience to come and protect these operations,” he said. “You would have the Arabs committed, which we thought was absolutely essential.”

The plan also included bringing other international aid organizations that would work with these CFPs to extend developments such as housing projects, community development and infrastructure repair to restore electricity and water.

“And finally, hope, start identifying a new leadership, local leadership in Gaza, which would be ready to cooperate with the operations of this non-profit entity,” said Hannah. “The local Gazans of the Good Will, who wanted to get rid of Hamas, to whom this entity could provide a certain support, a certain protection so that they can, could begin to rebuild the civil administration of Gaza.”

The plan also addressed the perpetual question of how to dissuade the next generation of terracotta terracotta in Hamas, in particular in the midst of Israeli military operations.

Hannah argued that this question could be addressed by simultaneously forming a “new Palestinian Palestinian security force non -Hamas” which would not only have the confidence of the local population but could also gain the confidence of Israel.

Hannah said he was still thinking that this plan could be a next step to ensure the Gaza Strip, but urged the Trump administration to play a more direct diplomatic role based on Arab, European and Israeli partners to get there.

The White House did not answer questions from Fox News Digital on this report.
