Just hours after Israel’s strikes on Iranian nuclear and military facilities, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a direct appeal to the Iranian people and said: “It is your opportunity to get up (regime).”

The position of the regime not only with the international community, in the midst of its vast support of terrorism sponsored by the State, which had an impact on the nations neighboring Syria and Yemen in Bahrain and in Saudi Arabia, associated with years of internal disorders, could mean that the change of regime is on the horizon.

“We are in the middle of one of the biggest military operations in history,” Netanyahu said on Friday. “The Islamic regime, which has oppressed you for almost 50 years, threatens to destroy our country.”

The Israeli chief said that Jerusalem’s objective by reaching Iran’s best military targets is to thwart nuclear and missile threats that Iran pose towards the Jewish nation, which he said weakens the regime and offers a unique opportunity for dissidents inside.

Minority groups represent around 50% of the Iranian population, and some Iranian specialists argued that if minority groups, which are frequent oppression targets in Iran, were to unite against the regime, they could play an essential role in the reversal of the regime.

Iran faced an increasing opposition since the death of Mahsa Amini, a Kurdish woman who, in September 2022, was arrested by the Iranian morality police and later died in a hospital because of her injuries.

The death of Angini sparked mass demonstrations across the country, which Iran has brutally applauded and continues to execute those arrested during demonstrations.

Fox News Digital was informed by Yigal Carmon, president of the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), that the members of the Ahwazis, a minority group in southwest Iran, who represent 6 to 8% of the population, have already been arrested by the regime in the middle of his fears of another internal rebel could brew alongside the war with Israel.

It is not known if demonstrations have yet started or if their arrests have been carried out preventively.

“A change of diet will be supported by many,” said Carmon. “The fact is that only minorities can bring a change of regime because they are organized militarily.”

“A coalition of non-personal ethnic groups could reverse the regime in a few months,” he said. “Unlike the Persian anti-regime population, the non-person anti-regime population is militarily organized.”

Other minority groups, such as the Kurds, which represent 10% to 15% of the Iranian population and who live mainly in the border areas of the Northwest near Iraq and Turkey, as well as the Baloutche people, which include 5% of the population and live along the southeast border of Iran with Pakistan, also a long history of the regime, although brutal consequences.

“It has never been lower. It is your opportunity to get up and let your voices be heard. Woman, life, Zan, Zendegi, Azadi,” said Netanyahu. “As I said yesterday and several times before, the fight of Israel is not against the Iranian people.

“Our fight is against the murderous Islamic regime that oppresses you and applies you,” he added.
