Lisa Daftari, expert in Iran and editor -in -chief of the foreign office, told Fox News Digital that the elimination of Shamkhani means a strategic escalation aimed at destabilizing the Iranian regime in his heart “.

“This precise strike highlights a double objective – not only targeting its nuclear ambitions but pointing out an unequivocal threat to the structure of power itself. The narrow links of Shamkhani with Khamenei amplify the gravity of the message, throwing uncertainty and fear among the political elite,” said Daftari.

She added: “The calculated nature of this decision underlines an effort to fracture the regime of the interior, leaving no silhouette out of vulnerability. This marks a scary precedent for the leadership of Iran.”
