JUXTAPOZ – Gr Gallery celebrates the final show in Bowary space with “Arcadia” + News of New Space in Tribeca

Our friends in Gr Gallery In New York City, it has some ads: big ads that we are excited to share with you today. Firstly, ArcadiaDouble offer includes Glendon Cordell and Takoya YoshidaLast week, the last Bowary Current Space will be in Manhattan, their house for 10 years. But you have no fear, the exhibition creates this autumn store in Tripika, at the heart of the city’s artistic scene. The exhibition will be closed to the summer to accommodate this step and renovations, with its large reopening in September. We will share new drilling details later this year.

as ArcadiaThe exhibition displays a total of 16 paintings on a fabric that reflects – with its bright tones and its unrelated formulas – on the interlocking relationship between the artist’s role in their actual area and the ideal of this place in their work.

Arcadia The audience calls for an ideal world, carried by the gentle spring breeze. It raises the landscape in Cordele and builds both nostalgia and the calm beauty of daily life. Inspiration was inspired by the vicinity of their studios – which were made away from the hustle and bustle of the city’s life, in Tasmania and Hokidu, respectively – artists create a utopian landscape implanted by the rhythms of daily existence, expressing them through their vibrant brushes.

Cordele’s work picks exciting scenes of rural landscapes, which depicts quiet promoters and rural settings with a visual language affected by the traditions of Australian original drawing and designed with abstract hints. Yoshida provides contemporary re -interpretation of pastoral topics. Its primitive forms and innovative techniques challenge the country’s traditional perceptions, which leads to a clear recent feeling.
