Former Cleveland Browns player Lee Bowden He believes this is the “perfect time” to move on from head coach Kevin Stefanski …and who should replace him?? Deion Sanders.
We were able to catch the previous defense in front Shedor SandersFirst start for the Orange and Brown this weekend against the Las Vegas Raiders … and would love to see the father-son duo reunite in Northeast Ohio.
Bowden – who played eight seasons in the league – praised what Coach Prime did at the college level… and believes his star power will attract all types of talented players and coaches to Cleveland.
He even went so far as to say that Deion and Shedeur together could have the potential to be great Tom Brady and Bill Belichick It was…but the world would never know until Prime got the chance.
As for Stefanski, Bowden couldn’t wrap his head around Sanders not getting any first-team reps until the week he made his debut as a starter… and also pointed the finger at his other decisions during Deshaun WatsonTime is under center as well.
Bodden believes Prime could easily dominate a locker room full of professionals — he is a Hall of Famer, after all, so the respect is already there.
2025 hasn’t been great for Sanders in Boulder – Colorado is currently 3-7 in its first season without Shedeur and Travis Hunter …But Bowden doesn’t see that as a problem.
In fact, he’s offering to help too!!
“I’m going to help turn this program around,” Bowden said. “Change this organization and, like I said, celebrate the Lombardi Trophy at the hands of (Lake) Erie. The father-son duo, they did it in college. Let’s see it in the pros.”
Shedeur makes his first professional career start with Dillon Gabriel He’s out with an injury… and Bowden clearly sees this as the beginning of a new era.
