Lloyd He might want to add a little pine tar to his dancing shoes… because he slipped straight up mid-show and almost hit his chin on the unforgiving stage!
The R&B singer was performing at a concert in Alabama on Friday night, and as the backing singers cheered him on to start his song “Girlsaround the World,” Lloyd — who was wearing a bright yellow suit — showed off his fancy feet.

Watch the clip… Lloyd spins in circles, kicks his feet and moves his left heel behind his right before one of his bandmates shouts “Talk to them, Lloyd!”
Lloyd tries to push himself forward, but his left foot comes too close to his right… and he stumbles – falling straight into the microphone and bringing it down with him.
Fortunately, the star avoided hitting his face or head… so he was eventually able to get back to his feet – with the help of security because he was laughing so hard – and finished the show.
For good measure, Lloyd made sure to let his fans know that he was doing okay after his accident… writing on Instagram after the fall, “Saw my life flash before my eyes tonight lol.”
Lloyd has a night off from performing… but he has a show in Memphis, Tennessee tomorrow. You may want to invest in some knee pads and a helmet!
