A masked man wearing a ballistic helmet enters a Las Vegas casino with an AR-style rifle to rob the joint.
It sounds like something out of a Hollywood action movie… but the wild scenario actually happened last week at Rampart Casino in Sin City — and Vegas police are now releasing video of the shocking revelation.
It all happened last Thursday night when the gunman entered the grounds and entered the hotel through a parking garage. In addition to the helmet, the suspect, as you can see, was wearing blue sunglasses, a black face mask, and a blue and yellow security vest.
Police say the man then climbed into the cashier’s cage, fired his AR-style rifle, and ordered the worker to cough up the money. A security guard was seen confronting the armed suspect, but quickly retreated when he saw the gun.
Meanwhile, according to cops, the employee complied with the robber, who got him out of there with an unspecified amount of money.
It doesn’t look like anyone was hurt or shot, thankfully…that’s how you know it’s not a movie.
