Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y. is set to release a book detailing its efforts to quell anti-Semitism on college campuses.

Stefanik, who currently chairs the House Republican leadership, is expected to run for governor of New York before the Empire State’s November 2026 election.

His next book is scheduled to be released in April of the same year and is titled “Poisoned Ivies: The Inside Account of the Academic and Moral Rot at America’s Elite Universities.”

A press release for the book obtained by Fox News Digital touted Stefanik’s role during a Dec. 5, 2023, hearing by the House Education and Workforce Committee, where the New York Republican questioned the leaders of three major universities about their handling of anti-Semitism.

The aftermath of that hearing precipitated the resignations of former Harvard President Claudine Gay and former University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill.

“The hearing heard around the world is unlike any other experience I have had at the highest levels of Congress over the past decade. It triggered an earthquake in academia and delivered accountability that was long overdue,” Stefanik said in a statement about the publication.

“The moral and academic crisis at America’s most elite universities is broad and deep, and it is already having far-reaching and devastating impacts. The students’ horrific stories are gripping, and it is truly shocking that this scourge of anti-Semitism is happening in the 21st century in the United States of America. I am proud to lead with boldness, strength and moral clarity on one of the most important issues of our time,” she said.

Stefanik, who represents upstate New York’s 21st Congressional District, is reportedly considering challenging Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul.

She also played a leading role in Congress in the Republican Party’s crackdown on anti-Semitism, particularly amid a wave of anti-Israel protests at American universities toward the end of last academic year.
