Ivanka Trump, President Donald Trump’s daughter and former administrative adviser, told a large crowd at Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square on Saturday evening that she was “impressed” by the “strength and conviction, despite such suffering” of the hostages’ families as they prepare to return home following the historic ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas brokered by her father earlier this week.
“And the president wanted me to share, as he did with many of you personally, that he sees you, that he hears you, that he is always with you,” she added. “And the return of each hostage is not only a moment of return and relief, it is a triumph of faith, courage and our common humanity.”
Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner, told the crowd that he was completely convinced that “what will come out of this trauma will be a level of greatness, a level of success, a level of impact on the world, a level of leadership that Israel has never seen.”
