‘Risky Business’ and ‘The Breakfast Club’ actor Ron Dean dies at age 87

Ron DeanHe died, best known for his work in “Risk Business” and “The Breakfast Club.”
The veteran actor died on Sunday in a Chicago hospital…according to Maggie NeffRon’s partner for 40 years.
The cause of death is unclear, but Maggie tells us that Ron had been suffering from a long illness.
She told TMZ… “He passed away at 4 p.m., after I had said goodbye to his beloved sisters. He stuck up like a warrior to say goodbye to his little sisters. Then we were alone, and I held his hand in my arms, and he trusted me when I told him it was okay to let him go. What an honor!”
Ron often played law enforcement on the big screen, and one of his first acting credits was on Risky Business alongside Tom Cruise. He also worked with William Shatner In “TJ Hooker” and he had a role in “The Package” with Gene Hackman and Tommy Lee Jones.
He played Emilio EstevezFather in the Breakfast Club…and Christopher Nolan He has also been tapped for a role in “The Dark Knight.”
Ron’s television credits include “NYPD Blue,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “ER,” “Chicago Hope,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Cold Case,” “Frasier,” “Without a Trace,” and “The West Wing.” “Still Standing” and “Numb3rs”.
He was 87 years old.
