Silent democratic senators to find out if the candidate should withdraw violent messages

The Democratic senators have largely silent when asked by Fox News Digital if the Democratic candidate of Virginia, Jay Jones, should abandon his race for the procureur general on the removal text messages which fantasize about violence.

Senator Ron Wyden, D-ear., Told Fox News Digital that he thought that the texts were “horrible”. Benefit further on the question of whether Jones should abandon the race, however, Wyden said: “I’m going to leave that, thank you.”

Another democrat, senator Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Told Fox News Digital: “I really don’t know the situation in Virginia.”

Asked if Jones “was to resign after these violent texts”, Senator Chris Coons, d-Del., I smiled and moved away.

Meanwhile, Senator Mark Warner, D-VA., Also ignored journalists ‘questions as to Jones’ messages are acceptable or if he demanded that his campaign donation be returned.

Senator Peter Welch, D-VT., Also refused to answer questions from Fox News Digital on Jones, simply saying that he did not know the matter.

In texts obtained by Fox News Digital, Jones, a former democratic member of the Virginia House of Delegates, said once on the shot of the president of the Virginia Chamber, Todd Gilbert, in texts with another legislator.

“Three people, two bullets. Gilbert, Hitler and Pol Pot. Gilbert obtains two bullets in the head,” wrote Jones.

In a later text, Jones also wrote: “Spoiler: Put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know and he receives both balls each time.”

In another private text exchange, Jones said he hoped that Gilbert’s children would die. When he challenged, Jones has doubled, saying that such sorrow could be “a good thing” if it advanced his policy.

Jones has apologized since, calling for “embarrassing and shameful” remarks, and said he had personally contacted Gilbert and his family.

Addressing Fox News Digital, Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, described the silence of the Democratic senators of “amazing, in particular with the wave of political violence that we have seen”.

“There are far too much on the left that celebrates political violence,” said Cruz, adding: “When Charlie Kirk was murdered, we saw leftists, university professors, leftist teachers, politicians, journalists celebrating this odious murder.”

“In this case, you have a democrat who presents himself for the Attorney General in Virginia, who declared in Text Communications that he wanted to see one of his colleagues, a republican, murdered, and he wanted his two little boys to be murdered. It is grotesque unacceptable, and each Democrat of Washington changes his eyes,” continued Cruz.

“In my opinion, the idea that someone pleads for the murder of children because he does not agree politically with their father is manifestly unsuitable for the public service, in particular the director of the Virginie virtue law, and I hope that there is even a democrat with the courage to say it publicly,” said Cruz.
