Trump promises members of the service to each last penny ” when closing

During a ceremony marking the 250th anniversary of the American navy, president Donald Trump Has reassured the soldiers affected by the closure of the current government, committing to receive “every last penny” from their salary and promising an increase “the other” once the dead end.

“I want you to know that despite the current closure induced by the Democrats, we will get our soldiers every last penktime,” said Trump on board the USS Harry S. Truman Aircraft.

“Don’t worry, everything comes,” he added.

While troops in active service continue to present themselves for the rights, their pay checks are frozen until the funding is restored. The employees of the non -essential civil war department, including thousands of people who support basic operations and logistics, have been on leave.

Meanwhile, military support programs – including daycare centers, basic commissioners and other family services – have been reduced in several facilities, forcing families to assume unexpected costs.

During a September 30 speech in Quantico, before the country’s main generals, Trump said that he supported a 3.8% salary increase for each service. “Something you don’t get previous administration,” added Trump.

The federal government closed at 12:01 p.m. on Wednesday, interrupting the salary for American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of other federal employees.

The closure, which now extends in its fifth full day, left military families faced with financial uncertainty, even if Trump assured the troops that the salary of the back and additional increases would be coming once the congress approves a new expenditure bill.

The Trump administration has blamed Democrats outright for the government’s closure, which should trigger scanning layoffs through federal workforce.

Before leaving for Norfolk, Trump accused the Democrats in a social post of truth Friday evening of allowing the closure and attempted to “destroy this wonderful celebration of the anniversary of the American navy”.
