The jets call for the allegations of complaints of “categorically false” employees in response

The New York Jets responded to the allegations made by the former employee Elaine Chen.

Chen has filed a legal action claiming that she had been dismissed in response to her role in an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against the president of the Hymie Elhai team. Chen alleges that the jets retaliated against her and her husband after complaints were filed against Elhai.

The jets provided a declaration to Fox News Digital calling for “categorically false” allegations, adding that the organization made legal complaints against Chen and her husband.

“The recent allegations against the organization and Mr. Elhai are categorically false. We deposit legal allegations, in particular defamation and defamation against Ms. Chen; her husband, Larry Fitzpatrick; and other parties involved,” said the press release.

“The allegations brought against Mr. Elhai were taken seriously and investigated in -depth in accordance with the organization’s policy and implied investigative measures by third parties.

“This investigation revealed the truth, with a disturbing turn: the allegations of harassment were not only without foundation, but the email at the center of allegations was part of a deliberate and illegal conspiracy of the employees of the then jets and the elders, including Ms. Chen and her husband, Mr. Fitzpatrick.”

Chen’s trial did not identify her husband by name. Fitzpatrick was vice-president of the sales team and ticket services.

The organization’s declaration also included a series of points on Chen’s allegations.

“The facts and conclusions of the investigation are irrefutable:

• The plaintiff, Ms. Chen, knowingly participated in the manufactured email and lied to the company about its involvement.
• The complaint deliberately omits critical evidence of the role of Ms. Chen in the conspiracy and contradicts the statements she made during her own investigation interview.
• Her husband, Mr. Fitzpatrick, among other misconduct, lied about his role in sending the e-mail manufactured and tried to obstruct the survey by deleting more than 4,000 text messages, some of which describe the calendar and imply Ms. Chen in the plan of her creation. Consequently, the use of Mr. Fitzpatrick with the jets was terminated.
• The text messages and interactions that the attributes of the complaint to Mr. Elhai are largely exaggerated and positioned for the sole purpose of the manufactured story. In addition, before the e-mail manufactured, the company had conducted multiple confidential investigations on the scale of the company by external companies, and no allegation of harassment was raised by Ms. Chen, her husband or someone else.
• The former employee of the jets referenced in the trial has already recognized and admitted that the allegations of harassment by Mr. Elhai had no factual basis and that he worked in concert with Mr. Fitzpatrick to facilitate email, “continued the press release.

In his trial, Chen alleged that the jets “aimed at anyone who supported allegations against Elhai and / or the conviction that Mr. Elhai’s sexual conduct justified a real investigation and / or disciplinary measures”.

The trial also claims that her husband was dismissed after having “confirmed” the allegations of the investigation.

Jets say they generally do not comment on active disputes, but have chosen to do so because of the circumstances of this case.

“Although we generally refuse to comment until we submit our legal response, in this case, we are forced to do so immediately given Ms. Chen’s decision to continue the illegal plot through disputes and make the circumstances of her dismissal by jets a public question.

“She was dismissed by jets for legitimate and legitimate commercial reasons, in particular, for her blatant misconduct, including the abolition of communications and lies, all in the pursuit of an illegal conspiracy to harm and defame both the organization and Mr. Elhai with the malicious intention of dismissing him and destroying his reputation and his career.

“We do not intend to comment more while legal proceedings are underway.”

A Chen lawyer could not be joined to comment.
